Lemur tots are triple whammy

Peek-a-boo … lemurs on look-out
THREE may be a crowd but these two-week-old triplet lemurs are still the star attraction at one Pembrokeshire farm.
The black and white ruffed triplets made their debut today at Folly Farm, in Kilgetty.
Sock it to em … hanging about
The gorgeous threesome are the second set of triplets born to resident lemur Kirindy, who is said to have bonded marvellously with her litter.
Today saw the wide-eyed triplets explore the farm where their older brothers Harry, Ron and Neville were also born.
The tiny trio stuck together during their outing and ended their debut by snuggling into socks hanging from a washing line as they mugged for the camera.
The farm is home to five adult black and white ruffed lemurs and is part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme.
Classified as endangered there are between 1,000 – 10,000 of these primates in the wild.
Folly Farm Zoo Manager Tim Morphew said: “It’s great news for Folly Farm to have another successful breeding of this endangered species but even better when you times it by three!”
