MOONWALK astronaut Edgar Mitchell has revealed aliens exist — and are just like E.T.

He said they are friendly with small bodies, a large head and big eyes.

Scientist Dr Mitchell, who reached the Moon in 1971 on Apollo 14, said: “You’ve seen some of the pictures of these little people who look strange to us.

“As far as I know from my contacts who have had contact, that looks pretty accurate.

“They are not hostile. If they were hostile, we would be gone by now.”

He insisted: “The UFO phenomena is real.

“It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.”

Dr Mitchell — who holds the record for the longest moonwalk at nine hours and 17 minutes after touching down in the Lunar Module — said he knew of the UFO visits from his career at NASA.

Referring to The Sun’s stories about recent sightings, the 77-year-old former Navy pilot added: “Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.”

NASA said: “Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.”
