Large Signed Print
If the design large posters or signs in the real dimensions?
I make layouts using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and now I have to design and get a large poster printed in a printing office .. I create the design with the actual dimensions of the advertisement? and what file extension I give the printer? THX
Posters should ALWAYS be set to 300 dpi. And always done at actual size. This will give the printer the document to work better. It would terrible for you to reach your limit, or even PAY for prints that were no less than his best. It is customary cost more to make real size copies and 300 dpi, but the results are much better than if the commitment to try to document a smaller size. Check with your specific printer on the sithey file types prefer to receive. In addition, all fonts used in printing: Be sure to save a "Printer Version" independent original, in which "expand" the fonts to outlines. In Illustrator you click the Type box and select Text> Create Outlines In Photoshop, you may not be as important, but if you save as PDF, choose raterize their sources. InDesign and PDF files are what i use my office to design posters, leaflets. For a bleeding around the edges recommend using InDesign rather than Illustrator or Photoshop.
